Biography Info

Micaela LIBERTI received the Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering and Doctorate Degree from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy in 1995 and 2000, respectively. In 2002, she became an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electronic Engineering, Sapienza Universityof Rome. Since 2008, she has being a member of the Scientific Council of EBEA, since 2011, she has being serving as EBEA scientific secretary. She has beenChair of EBEA2011in Rome, February 21-24, 2011, in 2019 she is TPC Chairof the Bioelectromagnetic Conference, joint annual meeting of BEMS and EBEA Societies.Since 2004 she has been involved in the courses of the EBEA School of Bioelectromagnetics “Alessandro Chiabrera”, both with lectures and organisation.She has beenExpert Member in the COST ActionBM0704 Emerging EMF Technologies and Health Risk Managementand COST Action BM1309 "European network for innovative uses of EMFs in biomedical applications (EMF-MED)and national substituterepresentative of COST ActionTD1104: “European network for development of electroporation-based technologies and treatments”. Dr. Liberti has authored and co-authored about 75scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals, andpresented communications and lectures at numerous congresses and scientific meetings. Her scientific interests concern interaction mechanisms between EM fields and biological systems, microdosimetry, exposure systems design and dosimetry, biomedical applications of EM fields.
