Biography Info

Domenico de Ceglia is an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Padova, Italy. He received his PhD in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Bari, Italy in 2007. He has been a research fellow at the US Army Charles M. Bowden Laboratory under several awards sponsored by the US Army Forward Element Command Atlantic. He worked as Research Scientist at AEgis Technologies Inc. in Huntsville (AL) from 2009 to 2012. In 2012 he has been awarded a National Academy of Science NRC Associateship with a project entitled “Light-matter interactions at the nanoscale”. He worked as Senior Research Associate at the US Army AMRDEC. His research is focused on nonlinear light-matter interactions in nanostructures. He is author or co-author of more than 150 papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings, 3 book chapters and 1 US patent.
