Millimetre Wave Systems, Circuits and Antenna Integration Challenges for Broadband Everywhere
Spectrum crowding in microwaves and bandwidth hungry applications push towards higher frequencies with millimetre waves being a solution. New needs appear for emerging applications such as 5G and satellite communications that carry the promise of broadband everywhere. Antennas and circuits will be vital parts and innovative designs can alleviate power needs. Furthermore these components are required to be integrated with other subsystems. The transfer of microwave techniques is not straightforward since losses become very important and gain speci cations are higher.
